Navigating the First Year of Grief and Loss Support Group

October 6 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Free

Tuesday, October 6, starting at 1:00 pm.

Located at the AgeWell Library – The AgeWell Center – 315 N 20th Street, Bismarck.

The first year after a loss is a time of profound transition. It can feel like a whirlwind of emotions sometimes overwhelming, sometimes confusing, but always deeply personal.

Whether you’re grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or any other form of loss, it’s important to know that your experience is valid, and there’s no one “right” way to grieve.

This support group will help you navigate this challenging year, where you’ll likely face many “firsts”, the first birthday, the first holiday, the first anniversary without them.

These moments can feel like sharp reminders of your loss, often stirring up intense feelings of sadness, anger, or even numbness. But with each passing day, there are also opportunities for healing and growth, even when it doesn’t always feel that way.

Kathleen Meckler facilitates this group. Please contact her at 226-9084 before your first session.

Participants attending this group will be transitioned into the Wednesday Grief and Loss Support Group. At least two (2) people are needed for the group.
