Flag Dancing
August 6 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
FreeThursday, August 6, starting at 12:30 pm.
On Center Stage – The AgeWell Center – 315 N 20th Street, Bismarck.
Stella Nelson will be on Center Stage to give us a special demonstration of flag dancing. Flag dancing is a performance art that combines dance movements with the manipulation of colorful flags. Performers use coordinated motions, spins, and patterns to create visual effects that enhance music, storytelling, celebrations, or ceremonial events. It is commonly seen in cultural festivals, parades, marching bands color guard performances, and some forms of worship or artistic expression.
