Join us in recognizing April as Parkinson’s Awareness Month. Parkinson’s is a chronic, progressive neurological condition with no cure – yet. Through ongoing research and community support, advancements in medication, nutrition, exercise and therapy, individuals with Parkinson’s are able to live fuller, more active lives.

Bismarck Parkinson’s Support Group provides:

• Monthly support group meetings.
• Educational programs and seminars.
• Community resources and adaptive equipment support.
• Financial assistance for reducing costs to attend educational and support conferences.
• Travel expense assistance to access treatment by Parkinson’s specialists at Struther’s Parkinson’s Center in Golden Valley, MN.

This is a family-friendly event taking place at Sertoma Park, Bismarck. The event brings over 400 walkers, runners and volunteers together to remember, celebrate and support those with Parkinson’s.
