AARP Fall Prevention Webinar.

Date: Apr 10, 2026

Time: 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Location: Virtual

A simple slip or fall can have serious negative consequences. One in four adults age 65 and older will fall each year and 50% will sustain a second fall. Falls often lead to loss of independence, serious injury and even death.

Even though falls are common, they are NOT a normal part of aging and there are proven ways to reduce one’s fall risk. Workshop participants will learn how our balance system works and important fall risk factors to address. We will discuss evidence-based interventions and resources for improving balance, preventing falls and staying active and strong!
